Chronophonix is a 4-channel audio work that invites participants to listen with the body. A recorded voice guides the listener through a future life progression script written and performed by the artist, moving through space, planetary bodies and possible future selves.

Appropriating the language of hypnosis, guided meditation and self-transformation, the work unsettles fixed ideas of time, progress and the self. Voice becomes a material conduit: touching the body, producing internal images and opening a temporary site of transition.

Rather than treating the future as a destination, Chronophonix approaches it as something heard, felt and rehearsed through listening.
