Big Invisible Fridge began as a musical track and later

developed into a performance series. In the performance, adhesive plasters are repeatedly applied to the face until

breath becomes restricted.

A material associated with care and repair becomes a cumulative covering: protective, obstructive and difficult to remove. As the plasters build up, the face is gradually sealed. The work moves between care and harm, visibility and disappearance, endurance and refusal.
