It’s Time to Relax With Confidence is a sound installation in which peace lilies rotate on spinning turntables. As they move, their leaves brush and strum the strings of electric guitars, producing a layered amplified chorus.

The plant-generated drone is layered with a disembodied voice from a self-hypnosis cassette tape. Instructions for relaxation and confidence become looped, unstable and strange, held within a live system of plants, instruments, electricity and contact
